I just read a new research study that shows an increased risk of Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis in women who use insecticides. I did not participate in this research, but I am a living example that is true and I always had been feeling that the cause of my lupus is just an ufortunate incident with pesticides, that happened in my childhhod. I was in a big block of cherry trees, when an agricultural plane flew over the cherries and dispersed a huge amount of pesticides. And me being there, I inhaled so much of it. And I was only 8 at the time. I had severe poisonning, almost died, was in bed throwing up and having fever for a month. After that incident I started developping all kinds of allergies, having over the years some lupus symptoms appear gradually, and now I have all full blown up lupus. Just because my immune system was totally destroyed so many years ago. Sometimes I dream of another life: "What if I wasn't in that cherry trees block at the time - I probably wouldn't have any allergies and I deffinitely wouldn't have lupus. Now I know, that EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN LIFE HAS CONSEQUENCES, SOONER OR LATER.
